VH Functional Analyst II typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following Performs analysis, development, and review of program administrative operating procedures Supports one or more Project Managers and leads Coordinates with Regional staff and SMEs of varying professions and domains Coordinates with operational medical staff and leaders Prepare Command Executive level briefings, presentations, information papers, and other similar instruments on topics of importance Performs document management, versioning, and routingcoordination of draft documents Facilitates knowledge management by collecting and distilling lessons learned and best practices Provides meeting support including meeting coordination, conference reservation, slide preparationcoordination, meeting materials readiness, attendance, minutes support, and action item tracking drafted for PM approval Generates marketing materials Approved social media management (e.g., milSuite) Develops guides and support materials for VH Documents workstreams and business processes Researches commercial and other federal practices Conducts literature searches and reviews of federal law, doctrine, instructions, etc. relevant to VH and operational medicine Prepares status report updates Facilitates coordination and status meetings Prioritizes, refers, and supports Project needs in the absence of the Project Manager (to the extent possiblepractical) Supports and coordinates In Progress Reviews, Program Reviews, and similar events Collates and analyzes non-centrally pulled metrics and outcomes Prepares report specifications for new content including preparation of ldquohow torsquosrdquo and guides Maintains key point of contact and stakeholder information Facilitates complex issues to reach consensus within regulations Supports troubleshooting of VH process issues (non-technical) Requires capacity to be analytical in nature, able to navigate find nuances in organizationalstakeholder interpretation and multi-organizational regulatory guidance Comfortable in high complexity projects and processes Operates highly independently with little oversight and on multiple simultaneous priorities Basic QualificationsSkills Required Active SECRET clearance Bachelorrsquos degree healthcare, management, health informatics or related field from an accredited college or university that meets above requirements for this position. Education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. 5-12 yearsrsquo experience in DoD Healthcare, clinic, andor a Functional Analyst or in virtual healthtelemedicine Strong written and verbal communication skills with senior Government customers and colleagues Exceptional time managementorganization skills Advanced proficiency in all of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio) including pivot tables Preferred QualificationsSkills Past military experience Optional QualificationsSkills Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Travel and Worksite Position expectation is onsite 20-80 at Defense Health Headquarters, Falls Church, VA. Must be capable of telework on Government Furnished Equipment to DHANavy standards with appropriate approvals. Must be capable to support 100 telework in special situations. Position expectation includes 10 travel including international, with advanced notice.
