Title Network Specialist Duration Contract Location Quantico, VA Active DoD Secret Security Clearance Required CCNA on day one + obtain CCNP within 90 days from hire Certification Required Job Description Immediate need for a Network Specialist to apply network standards, protocols, and procedures. The Network Specialist will work with clients and customers to assess their requirements, provide information or assistance, explains the scope of available products and services while being committed to quality deliverables. Strong Tier IIIII experience with routers, switches, firewalls, CISCO gear, preferably Fortinet andor Juniper Network transport. Responsibilities Under broad direction, oversee the infrastructure and network operation, responding appropriately to alerts and events. Oversee incident resolution, ensuring appropriate response to escalations. Coordinate infrastructure repairs, including directing remote activities to ensure continuity for service delivery. Review root cause analysis documentation to address performance management and incident correlation issues. Provide data center support where appropriate. Oversee daily shift activities and document in appropriate reporting and ticketing tools and ensure continuity for any outstanding issues. Provide incident notification to Government representatives.
