Chief Revenue Officer

We are seeking a results-oriented and experienced Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join us on this mission. As part of the Executive Team, you will execute on the corporate strategic plan, focusing on expansion of the business. This is an Executive Level position and reports directly to the President of Company. The CRO is responsible for leading all Business Development, Sales, Capture, and Proposal efforts while coordinating with the Executive Team. You will have overall responsibility for meeting or exceeding product and services revenue growth goals. As a member of Company Executive Leadership Team, the CRO will work closely with executive colleagues to develop and implement overall corporate growth and operational strategies. Responsibilities The CRO is responsible to: Ensure performance, strategy, and alignment of the company revenue generating departments Develop and manage a world class sales management team that can drive business growth across segments and share accountability with Marketing, Operations, and Services to improve individual customer experience and strategy lead the company in building executive relationships within government agencies and departments, and identify opportunities to support their mission, manage and grow the opportunity portfolio and align with the company strategy, enhance the value proposition for all opportunities to improve financial performance, expand and develop beneficial contract vehicles, develop external partnerships to support opportunity pursuit, lead, manage, and develop the internal sales and business development organizations, effectively manage the business development and sales organization budget within company goals. Additional responsibilities include: Leading and Overseeing oidentification and qualification of pipeline opportunities, opursuit and capture bid/no-bid processes and meetings, odevelopment of capture and solution strategies, ocompetitive analysis, opreparation of price-to-win strategies, omanaging B&P costs. Develop and implement sales and business development strategies for product and service lines that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy. Work with sales leaders and teams to research, uncover, understand and analyze agency missions, priorities and programs and to align sales and marketing approaches with existing and emerging market requirements. Work closely with marketing to and product management to develop messaging and approaches that support sales objectives. Identify and win new, long-term business opportunities to support the company’s core capabilities and position the company for large, long-term program and services opportunities. Responsible for the leading/directing business development planning for next generation programs that will emerge. Work with teams to evaluate budget and funding sources, competitive environment assessment, technology applicability, market dynamics, price to win analyses and probability of winning Maintain accurate business projections and provide forecast and pipeline reports on business development status to create sustainable growth as required by company leadership. Select, implement, and support sales development approaches and methodologies and work to support the continuous learning needs of all sales and business development team members. Manage complex contract negotiation and work with legal counsel as required. Work to establish personal relationships with government and industry customers at all levels; establish a company presence in industry forums/events and develop high level relationships with industry vendor partners Position Requirements: This is a critical executive-level position that requires a senior business development executive with a proven track record of leading high performing sales and business development teams in the Federal environment. Inspirational leadership style and a hands-on approach Ideal candidate will maintain extremely high customer contact level, possess superb communication and interpersonal skills and be able to thrive in a high tempo business development organization. Must possess proven collaborative leadership style, results oriented, high energy, and ability to lead across the company. Must possess the ability to develop and execute sales strategies, manage sales territories and leverage the right resources to optimize results. 10 or more years plus of successful Federal business development and sales leadership experience. Significant management and P&L experience. Experience selling products and services is highly desired. A Bachelor’s degree is required. A graduate-level degree preferred.
