Customer Technical Service Rep

Vista Outdoor

**Responsibilities and Qualifications** Minimum Qualifications: HS diploma/GED Ability to pass ATF gun control act background check Minimum 12 months experience in a role requiring accurate data entry Strong written and verbal communication skills utilized in a professional environment Strong and clear interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment Experience with customer conflict resolution while maintaining professional demeanor (preferred) Experience utilizing Microsoft AX or similar system as well as other Microsoft Office programs Ability to make logical decisions in a dynamic, and at times, ambiguous work environment Job Requirements: Answer and assist all calls received into the Customer Technical Service Department.

Properly and professionally responds to email in timely manner which include technical questions, order status, availability of product and authorized dealer referral questions.

Promptly and accurately respond to customer inquiries whether EM, VM, or system generated.

Willingly research and investigate pertinent information to resolve customer issues Responsible for providing RMA numbers to customers for returns and warranty issues.

Responsible for meeting goals that are set forth by management.

Initiates all Post Office or UPS package claims internally.

Attend training as required by manager to remain up to date on products and services.

Resolve customer complaints in a timely professional manner Utilize MAX or other computer software system for logging responses Maintain a high level of professionalism in stressful situations Understand and interpret regulatory requirements (State and Federal) and convey to customers All other duties assigned by supervisor.

Physical Demands: + Required to sit or stand and move about the facility and do so for up to 9 hours per shift.

+ Occasional lifting of items not to exceed 50 lbs.

PPE: + Required to use safety glasses as outlined in safety policy and appropriate PPE according to OSHA guidelines for specific job tasks Equipment: + Computer, calculator and multi-line phone system.

Hand tools for repair of product.

Tools necessary to support quality department as needed.

Work Environment: + Combination of office, manufacturing and plant environment Travel Requirement: + Minimal for customer support or training Education: + High School diploma or GED Skills: + Customer focus, ability to multi-task, problem solving, drive for results.
