Your Impact:

The Jacobs Rapid Solutions unit is a leading provider of technical products and services in support of Defense, Intelligence, and Law Enforcement customers.

We support operations around the world in the fields of satellite payloads and communications, tactical surveillance, airborne ISR, aerial digital mapping, Internet-of-Things (IoT) device management, and tracking devices.

We are seeking a motivated, curious Proposal Coordinator who will enjoy working with several new business capture managers – sometimes simultaneously – to deliver winning proposals to our customers.

This position offers a dynamic and interesting work environment, exposure to cutting-edge technology development, and the satisfaction of supporting some our nation’s most important national security work.

Duties:
Assists the Capture Manager and/or Proposal Manager in the coordination of the proposal process.

Downloads Request for Information (RFI) and Proposal (RFP) documents from client websites (classified and unclassified).

Organizes and populates information repositories (e.g.

eRoom, Sharepoint, SalesForce) and updates/maintains content.

Schedules and participates in response-related meetings.

Parses RFP’s into templates and builds compliance cross-reference matrices.

Integrates inputs from various contributors to generate a coherent proposal.

Proofs and edits technical and non-technical documents for consistency and precision.

Provides some original writing for sales opportunity response documents and marketing materials.

Coordinates production of response documents (printing, copying, binding, shipping).

Inputs sales data into designated information management systems.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Required:
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree plus two (1) year of related experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience for a total of six (5) years.

Technical: Strong capability in Microsoft Office suite and with proficiency in database applications.

Strong communication skills.

US Clearance: Must be a U.S.

citizen, cleared to SECRET or clearable to SECRET.

Languages: Effective verbal and written communication skills in English (and other languages, as applicable).

Other: From time to time, work may be required after hours and on weekends, dependent upon the time constraints of the supported proposal(s).

Must also be willing and able to travel.

Preferred:
TS/SCI Clearance.

Technical writing and editing: Ability to interview technical leads and write proposal sections.

Graphic Design: Ability to generate digital graphic art and diagrams in support of proposal and technical document clarification and illustration.
