Sr. Data Analyst (Contract)

The Senior Data Analyst is a 3-month contract role located near Richmond, VA. The client will pay relocation expenses. Responsibilities Act as an integral role of the Finance Data Analytics team. Interpret data, analyze results, and execute standard reports. Create dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI and other reporting tools. Execute extemporary data analysis and provide findings to leadership. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and other strategies to optimize quality and efficiency within the organization. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Provide mentoringtraining to internal employees on how to utilize the tools and reports. Requirements Bachelorrsquos degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Data Science preferred. 4+ years of work experience within a structured business environment. Experience working with large-scale ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc. Experience working within BI tools such as Power BI, SAP-BPC, Tableau, etc. Prior exposureunderstanding of ETL tools. Advanced Excel skills required. Experience working with scripting andor coding languages such as Python, SQL, VBA, JavaScript preferred. Knowledge of analyzing data within MS Access, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.
