Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Business Development Director 2 to lead business development pursuit and capture efforts for a portfolio of programs in the Tactical Space Systems Division.n nThe Director may work virtually or in one of the following locations:nDulles, VAnGilbert, AZnRedondo Beach, CAn nThe Director, as part of the growth-oriented and customer-focused division leadership team, will be responsible for implementing processes and leading an organization that drives division growth.

In addition, the Director will be responsible for delivering an extraordinary customer experience across our global customer environment and infusing our strategic focus and messaging into all elements of the division”s customer engagement.n nThe Director will be responsible for translating Customer needs into specific requirements, identifying/tailoring company services and solutions into offerings, and managing captures to effectively market the operating unit”s products and capabilities to meet those needs.n nBasic Qualifications:n nBachelor”s degreen10+ years of experience with DoD business development, capture management, and/or program managementn5 years of management experiencenThorough knowledge of government procurement and business development processes: identification, qualification, capture and bid activitiesnExperience with market assessments, analysis of competitors and potential partners, and strategy developmentnExperience in business marketing/coordination and submission of winning proposals, issue identification, risk mitigation, and ensuring post-win Customer satisfactionnExcellent communication and presentation skillsnRequires a current and active Top Secret clearance and SCIn nPreferred Qualifications:n nNorthrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
