Workyou’ll do As a Sr. Consultant within our Supply Chain team, you will Deloitte is seeking a Federal Acquisition Consultant to join our Supply Management Digital Procurement team to provide acquisition consulting support to federal clients This opportunity is for a strong professional who will address our clients’ most pressing challenges across the federal acquisition landscape, to include procurement strategy and operating model design, category management execution, digital procurement implementation, and supplier relationship management In addition, you will Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work processes and provide innovative approaches to completing the scope of work Leverage data to make informed business decisions and validate recommended courses of action Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues Improve customer service operations and develop efficient and effective solutions given the constraints present in the federal procurement environment Develop and execute tasks along the federal acquisition lifecycle (planning, solicitation, evaluation, award, postaward), as applicable Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products Actively expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with clients The team Supply Chain Networks Our Supply Chain Networks team helps clients transform their value chains into competitive weapons. We drive efficiency, improve flexibility, and increase responsiveness through proactive insights and decision-making. Weadvise, implement, and operate transformational solutions that bringworld-class supply network and operational capabilities to our clients. Weprovide operational know-how, digital technologies, advanced analytics, andindustry-specific hybrid solutions to deliver unprecedented client value.Additionally, we improve operations, product, and material flow across thebreadth of the value chain and create greater supply network synergy and value through MA events. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering or related field Ability to obtain and maintain the required Security Clearance for this role 5+ years of experience supporting federal acquisitions for program office customers Relevant professional certifications (CFCM, CPCM, andor DAWIA ContractingFAC-C Level III) Travelup to 25 (While 25 of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice) Preferred Prior professional services or federal consulting experience Supply Chain optimization experience Knowledge of Federal Contracting Demonstrated knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Working knowledge of recent federal acquisition initiativespolicy (e.g. Category ManagementSpend Under Management, Best-in-Class contract vehicles, IT modernization, Other Transaction Authority) Proficiency working with federal spend data and translating resulting data sets into actionable business intelligence Experience with analytics software applications outside of MS Must be a self-starter with entrepreneurial traits Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Strong problem solving skills Excellent verbal communication and writing skills Howyou’ll grow At Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best workevery day.
