Silgan Dispensing Systems is looking for a Talent Acquisition Supervisor to help set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the US Region of talent acquisition. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who is not afraid of starting from scratch and working collaboratively with other HR and business leaders to craft our US Region talent acquisition strategy as we grow our global operations.  Our candidate would have strong cognitive and problem- solving skills with a desire to build a sustainable, data-driven strategy to recruit and onboard professional and production talent.  This position would report to the VP, HR located in Richmond, Virginia. This is a great opportunity to have an impact on scaling a growing global manufacturing business. Key Responsibilities: Stay on top of employment trends and develop recruiting strategies to fit the new world of work in manufacturing and to attract and retain the best talent for our future.  Partner with key business and HR leads to develop a branded, marketing approach that reflects the total value of employment with SDS and helps to build a diverse, modern, and multi-talented workforce. Create a sustainable talent pipeline to support the growing demand for production and professional talent within the SDS business. Develop metrics and measurements to proactively manage and prioritize demand from the business. Develop and internalize metrics that ensure great results and exceptional candidate experience. Personally handle recruitment for senior and strategic roles. Provide expert consultative support on challenging talent acquisition and retention issues. Qualifications: BA or BS degree in business, HR, or related field or equivalent experience 5-7 years of total experience, some of that time with a global company, working with global teams Demonstrated skills in interviewing candidates and developing insights into behavioral competencies and skills Business-focused with the ability to develop an understanding of strategic business priorities and what it takes to succeed in SDS roles “Can do” attitude with the ability to directly manage tasks while collaborating with other HR and business leads Strong analytical skills, seeks out research on recruiting and challenges, and able to identify and apply metrics for constant improvement Driven to excel with a focus on creating great service and results Tech-savvy, interested in automated delivery of services and the power and efficiency of systems Process-minded, quick delivery of project plans and strategies for fulfillment Able to work in an environment where demand can come from multiple sources and skilled in communicating and managing deadlines and priorities with appropriate urgency Professional and service-oriented with a focus on problem-solving, not problem identification Interested in moving the needle on diversity metrics Able to produce compelling presentations, working with external marketing support, and skilled with Office 365 and related applications, the Workday experience is a plus
