Job Description The Senior Intelligence Manager will play a key role in managing a global team of professionals focused on identifying and reporting threats, mitigating risk, and developing new and custom analytical products at enterprise scale.

They will provide anticipatory warning and course of action recommendations in support of business strategies.The manager is expected to help serve as a brand ambassador for the team while also serving as a point of entry for new and existing partners.

This role has the opportunity to provide the organization with a decision advantage on a global scale, and as such the manager is expected to be a creative thinker who can adapt quickly to evolving security and business trends.Additionally, the position will also support global travel security initiatives and high-risk travel situations.The successful candidate will be a thought leader with a proven record of developing and managing global intelligence programs with a focus on threat identification, writing and briefing on key geopolitical events, managing and mentoring analytical teams, and protective intelligence.

In this role, the leader will collaborate with our globalized security team, as well as other key partners at Visa, advancing Visa’s security mission while empowering business growth.

The leader will play a key role in elevating an industry-best team with an established track record.

This is a high impact role requiring the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including leadership, throughout the company.

The successful candidate will be equally comfortable delivering on operational goals and process/program transformation.

Essential Functions: Intelligence and Analysis Lead and advance the department’s Protective Intelligence program Prepare and provide written and verbal briefings to key stakeholders on geopolitical and security issues key for the business, as well as risk-based guidance on critical incidents Be responsible for tasks related to operational team management and oversight, to include up-leveling junior analysts and providing heavy editing and feedback/training at times Support active threat/risk monitoring and reporting (indicators and warnings) Provide risk-based guidance to lines of business and leadership in response to critical incidents Develop and mature products focused on key stakeholder needs; measure success Work tofurther information-sharing goals with other Visa business units, such as Cyber/Insider Threat and Crisis Management Develop and continuously refresh the team’s technical roadmap Serve as back-up and support for the GSOC Director as necessary Administrative Maintain or oversee global threat databases, subscriptions, and archives Oversee metrics and key performance indicators for the team Incorporate partnership and stakeholder feedback Other Identify, build, and sustain relationships with industry specialists globally Support the team during times of emergency and protracted response and recovery efforts Contribute to furthering formalization of standard operating procedures for the Intelligence and Protective Intelligence teams as they respond to critical incidents, major events, new stakeholder needs, and more Be willing to work on-call and irregular hours; desire to support global crisis response needs Light travel (domestic and global) Qualifications Basic Qualifications: At least four years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, at least two years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or at least zero years of work experience with a PhD At least four years of direct intelligence and threat analysis experience working with or for the private sector At least two years managing and leading teams (contracted or full-time) Superior communication abilities; must be able to write/present with impact and brevity (technical writing and editing abilities, use of infographics, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: Between seven and 10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, six years of experience with an Advanced Degree, or three years of work experience with a PhD Direct experience working within 24×7 operations and/or call center environments Understanding and experience with tenets of data analytics, data engineering, or data science Direct experience managing travel security cases (vendor, private sector, or government entity) Experience with key tenets of protective intelligence programs, to include the ability to formulate, and successfully deploy, threat and risk methodologies and services Familiarity with key platforms and systems leveraged within global operations centers (CCURE, DVTEL, D3 or related) Demonstrated experience with analytical tools and processes Crisis management, response, or preparedness experience Strong relationships with Government, Law enforcement, and global intelligence, threat analysis, or protective services associations Technical competencies: MS Office Suite (Visio, Excel, SharePoint) Additional Information Work Hours: Candidate may work in the time zone he/she lives, but also must be willing to be on-call during non-work hours in order to respond to critical incidents in real time Travel Requirements: This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 10% of the time as thisposition involves occasional travel to Global Security team meetings, GSS-supported events, as well as networking events Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.

The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds Visa is an EEO Employer.
